A Community Tribute to Those Who Served
The Senoia Veterans Memorial is a community-driven effort to honor local veterans with a permanent memorial at the entrance to Senoia near Marimac Lakes. Having completed Phase I with flag poles, signage, and lighting, we are now raising funds to complete the remaining phases of this tribute to those who served.
The Project in Two Phases
Phase I
The Foundation Is Laid
- Three flag poles flying the United States, Georgia, and POW/MIA colors
- Brick memorial with engraved "Senoia Veterans Memorial" signage
- Landscape lighting to illuminate the memorial after dark
Dedicated and raised for the first time on July 3, 2026, on the eve of America's 250th birthday.
Phase II
Completing the Vision
- Hardscaping and landscaping for a place of beauty and reflection year-round
- A branch-of-service monument for each of the six armed forces
- A water feature and memorial benches along the walkway
- Commemorative bricks, trees, and named sponsorships
